This Privacy Policy is issued by Nya Mattheessens, natural person, sole proprietorship, trading under the commercial name CURL Studio, with registered office at Constantin Meunierstraat 43, 3000 Leuven, registered under company number 0749.859.092, hereinafter referred to as 'CURL Studio'.

CURL Studio considers the protection of data and the privacy of its customers and the users of its website very important, and in line with this, the following privacy policy has been drawn up.

This Privacy Policy has been drawn up in accordance with the GDPR legislation or Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC, known as the General Data Protection Regulation and the subsequent national legislation.

This Privacy Policy is adapted to the use of the website Curlstudio.be, hereinafter referred to as the 'Website'. Any adaptations, modifications or changes to the Website may lead to changes to this Privacy Policy. It is therefore advisable to regularly consult the content of the Privacy Policy.

Furthermore, this Privacy Policy only applies to the Curl Studio Website. If the Website contains links to other websites, these other websites have their own privacy policy. Curl Studio is not liable for the privacy measures and/or the content of these websites and therefore advises you to also consult the privacy policy of these other websites.

Exercising the above rights is in principle free of charge. Only if the request is manifestly unfounded or excessive can a fee be charged. In certain cases, it may also be decided not to comply with the request, for example, if this conflicts with a legal obligation resting on CURL Studio.

If you believe that CURL Studio is not processing your personal data lawfully and/or in accordance with legal provisions, you can file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Data Protection Authority. 5. Data retention period

CURL Studio retains personal data only for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes described in Article III of this Privacy Policy.

If a longer retention period is justified by law or by compliance with another legal obligation, CURL Studio may retain the data for longer.

The retention period will in no case be longer than 7 years.

CURL Studio takes the protection of personal data seriously and takes all appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, and unauthorized access. It strives to continue taking appropriate measures in the future, taking into account the state of the art, implementation costs, context, processing purposes, and potential risks to the rights of those involved.

CURL Studio's website is secured by an SSL certificate.

7. Sharing of data with third parties

CURL Studio will not disclose personal data to third parties, unless this is necessary in the context of providing and optimizing its services (such as, but not limited to, administration, processing payments, etc.).

CURL Studio guarantees the security of data by its employees and subcontractors. Specifically, this means that CURL Studio's employees and subcontractors are bound by confidentiality and that only those who require access to your personal data in the context of the performance of the agreement will have access, and they are contractually bound to the correct processing of the aforementioned data.

If it is necessary for CURL Studio to disclose your personal data to third parties in this context, the relevant third party is obliged to use the personal data in accordance with the provisions of this Privacy Policy.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, CURL Studio may disclose personal data to the competent authorities (1) when CURL Studio is obliged to do so by law or in the context of a judicial or future judicial procedure, and (2) for the safeguarding and defense of its rights.
